Narcan (also called Naloxone) is a life-saving medication that will temporarily reverse an opiate overdose, allowing you to get someone to more medical help. 

Trainings are held at Bluestockings Cooperative Bookstore and will cover:

  • -What is Naloxone and how it works
  • -How to recognize an overdose
  • -How and when to administer Naloxone
  • -Your rights and protections around Naloxone
  • -How to use other harm reduction tools like test strips 
  • -More harm reduction info local to NYC
